Women’s team defends title, with men’s team and men’s masters teams placing 2nd and 3rd respectively

B.A.A. WOMEN’S REPORT
The women of Team B.A.A. successfully defended their title at the USATF Club Cross Country Championships in San Francisco, California on Saturday. Emma Bates lead with her 5th place finish (20:02), followed by Sarah Pagano (6th, 20:04), Jen Rhines (8th, 20:06), Emily Lipari (13th, 20:23), and Elaina Balouris (17th, 20:32). Katie Matthews finished 23rd overall (20:37), with Juliet Botoroff rounding out the team in 31st (20:45) for the 6K distance. The team scored 28 points (top 5 team members scoring), winning by 81 points over the second place squad.

B.A.A. MEN’S REPORT
Team B.A.A. men finished runner-up in the Men’s 10K “A” race. Leading the charge was new team member Daniel Winn with his 6th place overall finish (29:31). He was followed by Brian Harvey (12th, 29:46), Dan Lowry (22nd, 30:12), Matt Fischer (40th, 30:37), Bo Waggoner (42nd, 30:45), and Eric Ashe in 57th place (31:02). Also competing for the team was Samuel Alexander (76th, 31:22), and Kameron Ulmer (145th, 32:20). David Chorney placed 5th overall in the Men’s 10K “B” race with a time of 31:52.

B.A.A. MEN’S MASTERS REPORT
Team B.A.A. men’s masters team repeated its third place finish from last year. Peter Hammer led the team with his 11th place finish (33:10), followed by Harry Stants (15th, 33:26), Christopher Magill (20th, 33:41), Ryan McCalmon (38th, 34:15), and rounding out the scoring was Keven O’Neil (62nd, 34:46). Also running for the team was James Callaghan (76th, 35:08), Wayne Levy (98th, 35:39), and Christopher Lawrence (129th, 36:18).
